Create an E-mail Account in the 1&1 Control Panel

Learn how to create a new custom e-mail account with any of the domains in your package.

Step 1
Log in to your 1&1 Control Panel and select the relevant package.

Click E-Mail & Office in the left side menu.

Select the 1&1 Mail Basic type by clicking the Create link underneath.

  • Required: You must first enter a name and choose a domain from the drop-down menu to create the e-mail address. Supply your First and Last name, and create a password for the account.
  • Optional: Click Add Forwarding Target to specify another e-mail address where incoming mail should be forwarded.
  • Recommended: For your account's security and protection, you should check the boxes for both 1&1 Anti-Spam and 1&1 Virus Protection.
  • When you are finished, click the Save button to continue.

A confirmation will be displayed after the the creation of your new account.

You can now log in to 1&1 Webmail to send and receive e-mail from your new account, or Set Up Your E-mail Account on a Computer or Mobile Device.
