1&1 Remote Support

Follow the steps below to establish a secure GoToAssist connection.

Using GoToAssist will enable a 1&1 support representative to see your computer screen as you're seeing it in an effort to help reach your goal quickly and efficiently.

System Requirements:
  • 28.8Kbps or higher Internet connection speed (56K recommended)
  • Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8 or Mac OSX from Version 10.8 Mountain Lion (with HelpAlert v10.4 Build 896)
  • Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari
  • Administrative permissions on the device to be connected
Step 1
Access 1&1 Remote Support and then click Next. Remote support home page

Enter the 9-digit session ID you receive from the support agent and then click Connect. Session ID screen

Step 3
Save the program on your computer and run it after downloading the file. Depending on the configuration of your computer, you will receive a request to authorize the application.
Step 4
You can authorize the application to run on your computer by clicking the OK button. Once you've done that, then you will be connected to a live 1&1 support agent.
