Use the 1&1 Control Panel to Manage Your Server's E-mail

1.00 Stars out of 2 Ratings
For Dynamic Cloud Servers, Windows and Linux Dedicated Servers, and VPS packages.

Learn how to alter the DNS settings in order to create and manage e-mail accounts using the 1&1 Control Panel as opposed to managing a custom mail server on the server.

By default, the mail settings for a server are configured to route mail to the dedicated server and therefore expect that a mail system is set up and running on the server itself. For those who do not wish to take on the responsibility of configuring and maintaining a mail server themselves, there is an option to route mail to the 1&1 Mail Servers and manage e-mail addresses through the Control Panel.

Step 1
Log in to the 1&1 Control Panel using your Customer ID OR domain name and your password.

If you have only one package, you will land on the Administration page. If you have more than one package, select the package in question to reach its Administration page.
