Connect Your Domain to Your Website (Webspace)

For Webhosting Packages

Learn how to change a domain's destination folder so that your domain loads the correct website files from your webspace.

You may want to reference the guide on how to Redirect/Forward Your Domain if you would like to forward traffic for your domain to a different URL instead.

By default, any domains in your package will load website files from the root of your webspace. This could have the result that all your domains appear to load the same website. It is recommended to keep all of your website files organized within a folder in your webspace and then assign the domain to the folder that holds the website files. This way you can create a separate folder for each website that you have, and assign each domain to the specific folder that contain the website files for that domain.

Step 1
Log in to your 1&1 Control Panel
Step 2
Click Manage Domains from the Domains panel.
Domains > Manage domains
Domains > Manage domains

Step 3
Click the arrow icon next to the domain name in question to display an options menu. Domain center home page
