Toggle Domain Auto Renewal

2.00 Stars out of 53 Ratings

Learn how to set which domains you would like to automatically renew and which you would like to expire naturally at the end of their registration term.

The ability to toggle whether a domain should automatically renew is only available for domains registered to 1&1 that are invoiced. Included Domains will always automatically renew at no extra cost, and cannot have the auto-renewal function disabled. If you do not wish to keep an included domain, you must Cancel the Domain from Your Package instead.

The auto-renew feature is enabled or turned on by default to ensure that your domain does not unintentionally expire, which can leave your website inaccessible and hurt the reputation of your business. You can disable domain autorenewal by following the steps below.

Step 1
Log in to the 1&1 Control Panel using your Customer ID OR domain name and your password.

If you have only one package, you will land on the Administration page. If you have more than one package, select the package in question to reach its Administration page.
