Cancel a Domain and/or Additional Items from Your Package

Follow the steps below to cancel a domain or an additional item from your package.

Cancelling all domains in your hosting package does NOT cancel the hosting plan itself. The hosting plan will remain active and will continue being billed until cancelled. Click here if you want to Cancel an Entire Package.

You can also Disable/Enable Domain Auto-Renewal.

Step 1
To cancel a domain, additional ordered features or an entire package, you will first need to log into http://cancel.1and1.com/ using your Customer ID and Control Panel Password. Click the Login to log in to the cancel site.

Select the package that contains the domain (or other item) to cancel.

Select the option to cancel Domains and/or additional items and then click the Next button to proceed.

Find the domain (or other feature) to cancel and check the box to select it for cancellation (A).

Select the cancellation option (B), select the cancellation date such as "(30 days after end of the month)" (C). When you're done, click Next to proceed. (D) Cancellation menu

You will be asked to answer a brief survey in regards to your cancellation. Click Next after you have selected an option.

Review the summary of your cancellation to make sure all the information is correct. When you are finished, click the Next button to finalize the cancellation.

A confirmation page is shown with the cancellation option chosen. You will receive an activation e-mail to confirm your cancellation. Log in to the e-mail address as shown in the the image below and click the activate link with in the e-mail. Once you've completed the activation, your cancellation will be set.
